Treats can be delicious and healthy. Easily. Make and keep these in the freezer for a quick snack!

Equipment

  • Food Processor

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried apple slices
  • 6 medjool dates pits removed
  • ½ cup raw cashews
  • ¼ cup raw walnuts
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup *
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • teaspoon allspice
  • teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • ¼ - ½ cup unsweetened toasted coconut

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor (in the sequence listed) and process until the mixture rolls around the processor in a ball. Transfer the mix to a glass bowl.
  • Using a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon, measure out the dough and roll into a ball and then roll in toasted coconut. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and place in the freezer for 30 minutes. Transfer to a freezer safe container and store the freezer or keep in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

Sub in ¼ cup toasted coconut for the chia seeds if you don't have any.
* You can omit the maple syrup and add 1-2 tablespoons of water instead if you want a no-sugar added version.
